Ashgate Hospice staff and volunteers served teas, coffees cakes at Barn Farm Campsite over the May Bank Holiday weekend. There were other stalls and attractions too, with the local PTA (from Stanton in Peak) providing the face paints, glitter and sparkle!
Fun, activities and live music (by local band Rivers and duo Samson 65) and of course the beautiful weather, made for a memorable weekend. Ashgate’s Mascot, Ashley Bear, was also involved in the fun too!
Ashgate Hospice total raised was £1186.18 and PTA £608.75. Jessica (LMS pupil) was also raising funds for an Explorer Jamboree Trip to Sweden.
The campsite would like to thank everyone who supported the event and the staff at Barn Farm for their hard work.
Vista Balloon Flights
On 1st July, Vista Balloon Flights will be visiting the campsite and the balloons will be setting off from the campsite in the early morning. In the afternoon Helen's Trust will be serving teas, coffees and cakes to the visitors and the local PTA (Stanton in Peak CE Primary School) will be providing the glitter and sparkle with their stall!
