The Pomeroy Trust

The Pomeroy Trust held a stall at the very successful Earl Sterndale Christmas Fayre on 18th November.

Our stall included a chocolate tombola, teddy tombola, guess the name of the teddy, plus a sale of knitted goods raising funds to renovate Pomeroy War Memorial Hall.

The Christmas Fayre was a fantastic event with 18 stalls including raffle, tombola, gift bags, craft stalls, chocolates, cakes, pickles and jam, toiletries and cosmetics and Christmas cakes and decorations a plenty. There was a stall from Blythe House and sandwiches, cakes and hot drinks were for sale.

Santa couldn’t make an appearance, but the local MP Sarah Dines did and put a lovely message on Facebook.

The Pomeroy Trust also held a games night at the Duke of York, Pomeroy, on Wednesday 22nd November. This was, in part, to raise funds for Pomeroy War Memorial Hall also a social event with the opportunity to play beetle and learn how to play whist.
