River Network Charity's ChristmasFest

River Network Charity's highly anticipated ChristmasFest kicked off with a bang on 10th December with the first of three generous giveaway events that delighted attendees and set the stage for a festive celebration for all the family. Many came including some from the Ukraine community who River Network have supported with Housing and other services.

The event, held at Starkholmes Village Hall, was filled with cheerful Christmas spirit, welcoming visitors with a host of activities and entertainment. Festive music and carols echoed through the hall, accompanied by a variety of stalls offering a range of Christmas gifts and treats.

The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the generous giveaways, which delighted everyone. Toys, food hampers, turkeys, and cash card prizes were generously given away, bringing smiles and excitement to the faces of children and adults alike. The generosity of the sponsors and donors ensured that everyone went home with a special gift.

"We are thrilled with the success of today's event," said a spokesperson for River Network Charity. "The generous giveaways were a wonderful way to kickstart our ChristmasFest and create a sense of community spirit. We are grateful to our sponsors and donors for their support, and we look forward to welcoming more families to our event in the coming weeks."

ChristmasFest continues on December 17th and 24th at Starkholmes Village Hall, offering more opportunities for fun, music, and giveaways. The event is free to attend and open to all, making it the perfect way to spread some festive cheer and enjoy the spirit of Christmas in Matlock.
