Traditional Fete and Open Gardens in the ancient village of Edensor, dating back to the 18th century, set within the Chatsworth Estate. Fine architecture of historical interest, many private gardens will be open to viewing.
Stalls include cakes and preserves, toys, bric a brac. Competition treasure hunt for children, vintage and classic cars & motor bikes. Entertainment includes Powder Keg Morris Dancers and Holymoorside Brass Band. Also Punch and Judy, wood bodgers and turners demonstration and Cook & Sons traditional barrel organ.
Various types of food available and Licenced Bar.
Cream teas in church, beer tent: local ales, Pimm's bar, prosecco. Dogs on leads welcome.
Proceeds to nominated charities: Helen's Trust, Sheffield Children's Hospital, St Peters Churchyard Maintenance Fund.
Plant stall with plants for sale from many of the open gardens and other local green fingered friends.
Official opening at 12noon by Lord and Lady Burlington. Entry £5 per adult, accompanied children under 14 free of charge.
