DLRAA RECEIVES DONATION FROM GREENHILLS CARAVAN PARK

On Monday 28th November 2022, Jim donated £723.31, for the Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland Air Ambulance (DLRAA).

Jim Green, one of the owners of Greenhills Caravan Park, presented Richard Fletcher, Derbyshire Community Representative for DLRAA, with the money at the Pub in Holiday Park. They decided they would support the DLRAA with a very special end of the season Beer Festival in November.

Richard said: “We were delighted to be presented with the money by Jim and the team at the Greenhills Caravan Park. Their passion and dedication to our service is amazing. DLRAA relies entirely on donations from members of the public as it receives no Government or National Lottery funding, therefore support from people such as Jim really is invaluable and goes a long way to helping to keep our lifesaving service flying and saving lives. “We would like to thank all the customers for the generosity and fantastic support they have given”.

DLRAA was formed in 2008 and has carried out more than 22,000 Rescue missions and saved many lives in the process, each rescue mission costing on average £1,700 with DLRAA completing on average 8-10 missions every single day, 365 days a year DLRAA relies entirely on donations from members of the public as it receives no Government or National Lottery funding.
