The Blackbridge Tractor Run that is hosted by the Harrison family of Blackbridge farm, Bradwell, held their annual tractor run on the 19th May to raise money for Northern General hospital’s breast, testicular and prostate cancer departments. A total of 75 vintage / modern tractors and land rovers took part raising a fantastic £1,800 for the hospital as well as a £125 donation to the Bradwell football club too. Blackbridge tractor run would like to thank the many businesses for their donation of raffle prizes, the venues that hosted the starting point and finish line of the run, the many Marshall’s that directed the drivers on their route, the organisers and people that planned the run and for the public for aiding in raising such a huge amount of money.
“It was eye opening to hear people’s stories of their own battle with cancer as well as close family members and we would like to take the time to acknowledge your successes but most importantly your losses. We as an organisation would like to once again thank you for your support. Keep an eye out for the next event and we hope to see many of you again in the future”.
